Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott says he wants to emulate former club captain and legend Steven Gerrard.
Jurgen Klopp signed the midfielder from Fulham when he was just 16 and there are high hopes he can become a future star with a handful of first-team appearances already under his belt.

And the midfielder said the Egyptian has had a huge influence on his development.

'Even in the gym as well - he is telling me to do a higher weight, he is telling me to push myself even more, so to have him in the club and around us young players, he is a really big influence. It's a dream come true.'
Elliott was part of the young Liverpool side that defeated Arsenal in the Carabao Cup quarter-final and Everton in the third-round of the FA Cup.
The Reds' assistant manager Pep Lijnders spoke to Elliott over a video-chat during the current lockdown and told the youngster he 'wowed' Klopp in his first training session with the club.
